HIV Treatment Saves Lives
Today, as many as one in five Americans who are HIV positive do not know it. As a result, they are not getting the care they need. There are many ways in which you can start HIV care in Georgia. You can visit your primary care doctor or go to your local health department. If you feel you cannot afford care, the Georgia Ryan White Part B Program provides a range of services to low income individuals who live in the state. These services include medical services, support services, access to free HIV medications through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), and assistance with insurance coverage.
Remember there is no cure for HIV and there is no vaccine (shot) to help prevent it.
